75 m2 (800 ft2) indoors + 75 m2 (800 ft2) terrace.

  • One bedroom with queen size bed, ceiling fan, AC/Heat unit, and full bathroom in-suite. There is another full size bathroom as well next to the kitchen.
  • The Living room has a table with four chairs. A sectional sofa that can make two twin size beds. TV with cable service. A seating area to make phone calls. Ceiling fan and AC/Heat unit.
  • A desk area for more privacy to focus and work.
  • Breakfast room with a ceiling fan, round table & four chair.
  • The kitchen has all new applainces: Refrigerator with freezer, oven, microwave, dishwasher, laundry machine and dryer. Also an iron is provided.
  • 75 m2 (800 ft2) terrace with plants and seating area.
  • Breakfast is not provided but there are plenty of places including bakeries, markets and cafes right at the spot.

About the location

It is located on Defensa Street, which becomes pedestrian street on Sundays. Very close to supermarkets, pharmacies, historic cafes, Tango houses, restaurants, ice cream shops. Only a couple of blocks from Plaza Dorrego and Parque Lezama. Walking distance to Puerto Madero, Casa Rosada, Plaza de Mayo, Cathedral (were the current Pope was a Cardinal). Easily accessible by taxi, buses and train.

San Telmo is the oldest neighborhood of Buenos Aires, Argentina, and is characterized by its colonial buildings and cobblestone streets, which are often filled with artists and dancers.

San Telmo's attractions include old churches (e.g. San Pedro Telmo), museums, cafes, antique stores and a semi-permanent antique fair (Feria de Antigüedades) in the main public square, Plaza Dorrego. Tango-related activities for both locals and tourists are in the area including Tango schools and Tango salons called "milongas" where people meet to dance socially. 

House Rules - VERY IMPORTANT: READ BEFORE RENTING

This is a family building so it is important that you treat our apartment as well as you would want anyone to treat yours. No parties allowed. Be considerate of others. Noise level at a decent volume in the hallways and inside the apartment.

This is also a Drug Free - Pet Free - Smoke Free apartment. Those activities are not allowed.

Broken items will be charged. Except for "Welcome Package" provided by the management, all items should remain in the apartment.

 

Note for parents with kids:

We are careful and selective when renting our apartment to parents with children, particularly young children. We have had bad experiences so it is mandatory to follow our rules if you want to stay at our place. Inside the apartment: 

 
Do not play with balls, bats and sticks that can break furniture and walls.

Do not use painting, crayons, color markers.

Do not jump on furniture, including sofas, chairs and bed.

Do not throw food on furniture, such as: sofas, chairs, bed.

 
Do not feed the children on the sofa or bed. (We have two areas for eating, one dining table in the living room, and another table in the kitchen. Or use the table in the terrace when weather is nice.)
